By the way for those that haven’t tried or understand their galette I can only say wait a minute before you go judging. The galette is like a very fresh pop tart. I love them and in the old days when the bakery was right off the restaurant you could watch them being made. The filling is gelled and the crust is just right. I get them at the holidays and for special occasions. I heat them up first, they are best heated, and serve them with a dollop of whipped cream. I have eaten them in many places all over France and in Germany and I have to say I like these the best, they are definitely in the top of the competition
